About the Money:
Organized project managers can easily make any amount if they put in the effort. We will give our new hire lots of leads each week to allow the quick commission to be made. Our Current Representatives make commission and the total is based on the hours, jobs closed, and meetings that are visited weekly. Attitude and ability are what regulates what you make, not time on the job. All current reps have been working with us from 5-15 years. We only hire the best.
Requirements:
3 Years of Flooring Sales Experience
Driver License
No Felonies - Background Check is Required
Car with Insurance
Smart Phone, Home Internet Access, Computer, & Printer.
About the Position:
Outside Flooring Sales & Design Consultant
This position requires an individual to interact with customers and assist them in making product choices according to their individual needs. The interaction occurs in the customer's home, the objective is always to provide both design and flooring advice that will make the customer's buying decision easier. Therefore, the ideal candidate must be willing to divide his or her work time between visiting customers' homes, prospecting for new clients, and networking within the community. In order to be successful, the candidate must also be willing to undergo our extensive product and sales training in order to become a certified flooring expert.
It is also expected that the individual is a self-starter, personally well organized, and willing to create new business as well as to provide outstanding customer service and follow-up.
Although not an all-inclusive list, the following are some of duties and expectations for this position:
Must have 3 years of flooring sales experience. One Type of Flooring experience is the minimum.
Keeping up-to-date on the wide selection of floors and other products we have to offer along with the benefits and warranties provided by each.
Provide outstanding customer service.
Writing estimates, work orders, and sales orders are computer-based.
Helping work through and following up after completion of the job.
Building client relationships.
Networking regularly and working effectively with other store employees.
Executing sales strategies.
Receiving payment or obtain credit authorization.
Using a computer database to research the availability of merchandise and to process orders.
Following up in a timely and professional manner with customers on all requests or concerns.
Answering questions from and providing information to customers about flooring and/or other products.
Assisting customers with flooring - explaining the features and benefits of various types of flooring.
Helping customers with their choice through decorating and design advice.
Visiting customer's homes or workplace to provide product and design advice.
Visiting customer's homes to complete a measure and estimate of the flooring selected.
Prospecting for new business by making calls and/or visiting construction sites.

Qualifications:
The skills and abilities we're seeking include:
A passion for, or experience with, measuring, decorating or design
Must be willing and able to attend some off-site training.
Must have access to reliable transportation in order to get to work, and to visit customers' homes.
Must have open and flexible work availability. Some Saturdays may be required if working full time.
Must have good knowledge of computers and be willing to learn our operating system. We are completely cloud-based with all parts of our business is online.
A history of demonstrated success in sales and/or customer service.
Flooring experience of 3 Years is required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Professionalism, to include dependability, accountability, and punctuality.
Self-motivated and internally driven to excel in your position and career.
Time management skills for juggling multiple (and sometimes competing) deadlines and deliverables.
